Laurence Sonnenberg AKA Zion Linguist was born 9th December 1985 in Cape Town, South Africa. He started his career in the psytrance scene at the early age of 15, now at 22 he is one of the most popular acts in South Africa and is owner of MMD Records (Mind Manipulation Device Rec.). He hopes, through his label, to release cutting edge psytrance written for the twilight hours of any party, and through his own music, rock the body and bend the mind ! So far he has played alongside the world’s biggest names in countries like South Africa, Israel, Japan, Germany, UK, Portugal, and Finland. His second album entitled "Plugged In" has just hit the word in a big way, with massive dancefloor response and massive reviews.
